What We Do

Programs & Services

The Down Syndrome-Autism Connection® provides specialized education, support, information, and resources to families, healthcare providers, educators and other community service organizations surrounding the dual diagnosis of DS-ASD.

Our programs are accessible through a variety of channels including, social media, e-newsletters, Zoom support meetings, phone calls, printed resources, educational workshops, and webinars.  Our organization serves as a vital lifeline to many people living in the margins of our society.

  • Since 2012 we have partnered with the National Down Syndrome Congress Annual Convention by offering a DS-ASD track of speakers who understand and present on topics of interest. Over the years, hundreds of families and professionals have participated in these specialized workshops and have joined the Connection community...

  • Webinars

DS-ASD Workshops are available as webinars for all interested. If you are with a Down syndrome or Autism organization and would like to offer this to support your community and your families, please contact us.

  • FREE Online Support (Facebook and Zoom)

Families with loved ones with DS-ASD are invited to join other families through our world-wide community via our closed Facebook support page. We also offer a monthly Zoom support meeting on the last Wednesday each month at 8pm EST. These 2 platforms allow you to ask more personal questions and share your experiences with others who are also looking for support and resources within our caring DS-ASD community. Post photos and videos and share the journey! Please contact us to sign up.
